My father (Donavon Diemer), played guitar professionally for years. He also played, did musical arrangements, and wrote songs for several gospel groups in the area. Before his passing, he asked

me not to let his music die.

I contacted a few of my old band associates. And along with the help of my wife, Kathy and my daughters Sonya and Kim, we formed Legacy. As time went on Kathy's lungs got too bad for her to sing on a regular basis, so another of our daughters, Kris stepped up and took over Kathy's part.

I feel it a blessing to be carrying on my father's "legacy," while making the Lord's music with my family and friends. All the while, watching my grandchildren imitating us. Knowing that someday they will carry on our legacy.
